To me that villa away game will end the 15th may, if all the 15th of mays games are moved to the following midweek for fans [if they dont put it to inbetween the villa home and west ham game] - No way should it take nearly 4 months for a new date to be said lol

The Villa game is now massive.

all these chances we have had which have gone begging, even Sourness commented on his we should be home and dry by now.

Win Saturday and I think Europa League is definitely on. The CL spot has sailed for me, its Chelsea’s to lose.

Edit: just looked at Chelsea’s fixtures, maybe not!

I it’s certainly interesting, the Arsenal game has changed quite a few perspectives. On paper the upcoming teams are all in poor form except West Ham and City. If we won those 4 I think we’d have a good chance at Europe league whereas only a week or so ago it looked like any Europe whatsoever was out of the question. It would be amazing though if we were right at the start of one of our streak runs of 3 or 4 wins on the spin.

West Ham have lost last 2 though, away at Burnley next week as well.

city will have the title in the bag and might have champions league final the week after our game.
hopefully it plays into our favour if we need the 3 points (in reality we'd bottle it)

If it was the difference between us getting 4th or one of Chelsea or Liverpool getting 4th, I wouldn’t be surprised to see City not quite giving it 100% in that game.

Guaranteed they'll turn us over then...

Hate to say it, but I think City's second 11 could beat us at a stroll the way we've fared against them recently

City will be getting the trophy in front of their fans, the first time they've played in front of their fans for 15 months. They won't be putting a reserve side out and they won't be rolling over.

Potentially. Players might be thinking though ‘I’ve got the CL final after this and then the euros, I’m not jumping into that tackle, I’m not running back to follow that runner, I’m not shooting from distance if my hamstring might go’

If there’s even a 1% drop off it could be good for us as City have shown recently they can lose when they’re not fully focussed. United didn’t win on Ferguson’s last game, the Munich air disaster memorial game, we didn’t win when Kendall died. Sometimes doing it for the fans isn’t enough.

That said City could put out multiple 11s good enough to beat us so it is a bit of a hope rather than expectation that they’re not at it.
