scary things them horses, they used their arses to move the queues over.
We were playing Rangers at home in the title winners contest - some Scottish drunk stabbed his biggie out on the horses arsp fans were injured- a bloodbath of fighting after that game as we beat them on aggregate in 1963/4......
The view of the Paddock & stand from the Gwladys street end - The Paddock was an original total all standing area at the lower tier until the early 1960s - best spec at Goodison ....-
My old dad had a season ticket back in there during the early 60’s, he used to call it the Padlock!
My older brother went in at the back dry & a cracking view ....
First time I ever went in there was probably for a reserve match around 1968 and I remember thinking, how do people at the front see over the giant wall!
