The tragic benefit of the English press could potentially put him off being the England manager long term.

The guy has excelled in his managerial roles but he’s also a top bloke. Does a lot under the radar for charities.

Such a shame England will take Carsley as permanent manager.

Missed the boat massively on him. Not a knee jerk on this game btw, I’ve banged the Carsley drum way before now.

He’d of snapped your arm off to manage us too.

But no chance now

I thought he was just filling in for the England job?

I’m so tired of the “he saved us so deserves time” shouts. He HELPED keep us up, but his record is awful and his football for the large majority of time is worse! Just because we were rubbish in seasons gone by, doesn’t mean we should accept battling for survival once again. I want to enjoy going to the match again and I want to see a coach leading the players and us, who has aspirations to get us to the very top. Those aspirations might never materialise, but wouldn’t it be refreshing to hear those in charge talk about “We’re Everton and we’re here to win the league!” And before you hammer me for that, I know I know the chances of that happening in the short term are slimmer than a super model on a diet, but I want someone to come in and instill belief and ambition that goes beyond just surviving and not just be, “oh well we weren’t very good even before I got here!”. Dyche Out!
Great post that mate and so true, half the reason we are fighting relegation is through his style of football, tactics and ingame management

Don’t know you know mate seems to be a bit of a campaign against him over not singing the anthem

Disagree 34 points would keep us up. And that squad should be walking to 34 points, Dyche basically had 2 small decent spells 1 point from the opening 5,
Then 14 without a win and still got 48 points.
But there is a section of this fanbase that believe he is nailed on and guaranteed to get the same points total this season, it isn`t guaranteed.

Not with this manager, and why is it a defence of him that we started like this last season! and he still got to 48 points, as if he is going to do that again?!?

Last season we were unlucky to lose a few of the openers but this season we have been nowhere near it bar 80 mins v Bournemouth...
