Legally speaking, Moshiri's shares at Arsenal were Moshiri's share, no matter if he bought them or was a gift from Usmanov, nobody can do anything about it, him selling his gift back to the person who gave it to him in the first place, while morally wrong (generally speaking), it's 100 legal.

In other words, the show might reveal what we all been suspecting all this time, Moshiri is using Usmanov's money, but doing it legally.

As a non-UK person, can someone explain what this Panorama thing is? I'm guessing it's like an investigative journalism type show. Does anything usually happen afterwards? Or do things get forgotten about after a week. Also is there any way to watch the show?

Don’t you have to own more than 30% of a club in order to be classed as having a controlling interest? As Usmanov holds 30% of Arsenal, it may be that he would actually be allowed to own half of Everton anyway

Usmanov owns , through one of his companies Red and White Holdings,30.4 % of the shares in Arsenal so irrespective of the fact he isn’t allowed anywhere near the descion making at Arsenal he is deemed to have a control in matters Arsenal that means he can not have any control or input into any other club.

My understanding is that Red and White Holdings was initially jointly owned by Usmanov and Moshiri and whilst I have no idea how or what Moshiri put into that company when it was formed it won’t be that difficult to follow the money back to source for if anything is above board the records would be clear.

That's pretty much it, but occasionally a story gains traction and something happens. It'll be on the BBC iPlayer but if that's geolocked in your location then you will have to use your ingenuity to find a stream online.

You are right it’s just as you describe.

Does anything usually happen following one of their investigations.? Sometimes yes sometimes no but we are in a strange place as a country at the moment.
The FA in particular has just been hammered for not dealing with an issue in woman’s football and they won’t want to be seen as ignoring any matter which possibly could be in breech of their flag ship rules on ownership.
