That's because KICKER in Germany are reporting it as a done deal

plus Sportbuzzer just a bit earlier ran the story he won't be going Bayern OR Arsenal, given both those outlets are normally reliable then gonna be interesting which one gets it right this time

Maybe he will go to PSG?

If he goes to Arsenal, they must have already had some serious coversations between him and Sven Mislitant, cos they will work close together in Arsenal, so they have to smooth over their very big troubles from Dortmund. It wasn't like a little argument, it was a really big problem.

Edit to add that Raphael Honigstein now say he definately not going to Arsenal.

Can't see any way they get past what happened at Dortmund to work together again mate.

Which if Bayern is ruled out - and he is going to be moving abroad doesn't leave a huge amount of options.

Spain - Barca and Real - just don't see it, no one else you'd imagine would have the finances to attract him
Italy - just don't see any club available that could attract him
France - PSG - seems to be the one getting floated around, honestly any manager who takes that job is after the payday as it's either win the CL or you are sacked, thankless task ultimately as they won't win the CL possibly ever IMO.
England - rs are settled, city are settled, Arsenal - don't see it as possible as stated above, which leaves him looking at a club which is gonna change a manager, spurs and United could both do so if either Poch goes Real or Mourinho goes PSG ofc, aside from that it's Chelsea who will be looking and would be a strange departure going for a very attacking manger when all the previous ones have been pretty defensive at the core.

aside from that don't see any other English clubs being able to tempt him - including us - we could back him financially and pay him a good wage etc, but the man seems to want to go to a team which isn't a 'project' and just needs some tweaks.

Games going on here C, no chance on earth he will be going Arsenal IMO, not with the former Dortmund guy being there

Forgot he'd gone there Ste. Good point.

Hell, this could all be just Tuchel and his advisor trying to stir Bayern into action! They have a few coaches they where / are interested in, maybe he wants to give them a scare and have them make a move. He dose want to go to a CL club for certain. I agree he doesn't really want a project. He will want a team with an already good squad to work with, like he had at BVB, but the difference being - not a team like BVB who alawys ends up selling its big players.

I'm on record on here as wanting him before we went for Martinez mate, so always was a fan of him.

But over the last year - since he left Dortmund - my opinion on him has changed a lot, seems that he believes his own press/hype, he's done comparatively little to earn such a reputation that he can be turning down Bayern, and be knocking back other clubs (ourselves included apparently).

For me he did exceptionally well with a very small team (like a lot of others have done with small clubs), got his big move and overall it didn't exactly show he was top class, could call his time at Dortmund a mixed success really, one which if he emulated at a 'big' club would not see him last very long - especially if he started falling out with the bigger ego's.

Gone from gutted we won't get him to a sense of a bit of relief - as think he's showing he has no desire to build and prove his worth (as tbf to him Klopp did have that desire at both Mainz and Dortmund and now the rs) but rather he wants to walk into something that gets him the credit without him having to earn it... At Everton we deffo need a manager incoming with a big point to prove rather than one who thinks because he got mainz up and kept them there and because he inherrited a CL regular and kept them there that he is the dogs bollocks already.
