In my opinion mate it's all relative. Mike walker was on a hiding to nothing he was bad like don't get me wrong but he was giving 5 mil transfer to stable a sinking ship. Obviously he failed spectacularly but he didn't take us backwards. Thankfully he didn't have a chance too. Allerdyce was brought in to stop us from getting relegated, that's it. There is no doubt in my mind the he will be gone in the summer and Steve Walsh will be replaced as well.

Martinez on the other hand took a top 7 side for the previous decade and turned us in to mid table fodder. Ripped out the foundations of the past manager and replaced it with silly string, with unprecedented backing from the board. He ruined this club and we gave him money to do it. He had this club embarrassed so badly in the derby that now nobody cares about it. He was such a cancer to this club that now Liverpool fans don't even enjoy winning the derby they just kind of feel sorry for us when they do. He made our biggest rivals pitty us. Then the cheeky sod had the audacity to try to take us to court for money we owed him!!!!

Fair play to you lad you said it like it is but you are going to get some [Poor language removed] from one poster in particular

Talking about Fonseca is pointless as our next DoF would have a say in the manager, that is if we appoint the DoF first. The way we are going about I see more mess next season with the WC, Walsh uncertainty, Sam uncertainty and DoF uncertainty. All it does is affect our team balance, pre season and transfers.

If we DON’T appoint the D of F first, that’s when you KNOW we are in trouble.

Inspired us to what? Loose?

Baines completely ran himself into the ground this season till his body gave up on him because we had nobody else we could play in his position. So he played every minute of every game. But yeah he doesn't care about this club because he went to the press because Martinez is a joke.

Your posts are nothing short of pathetic mate. You present your sad little agendas against everything everton as absolutes and facts. When in actuality they couldn't be further from.

That part about Mike Walker -- Total lie.

No-one could play in Baines' position -- Total lie.

That last comment about @davek you should really be looking at yourself in the mirror.

He set our club back 5 years minimum. We went from the whole league saying with a bit of money everton could break into the top four. To battling relagation three of the 5 seasons since moyes left. He has destroyed this club for me and his transfer dealings are at the heart of it.

Eto spent 5 minutes with the man and knew exactly what he was.

Martinez set the club back 5 years? By taking over a workmanlike aging squad that Moyes built and having to rebuild it? I'm sorry but that is a bizarre statement, especially after his first season.

Everton have not battled relegation for 3 of 5 seasons since Moyes left, what an absolute lie.

"Martinez destroyed this club" -- hahahaha another lie.

Bad transfer dealings...to play Martinez, Guardiola and any type of possession based passing football you need top players (something most people with a brain were saying at the time) and yet Martinez wasn't given the money to buy these players...instead he had to replace an aging squad with cheap punt signings and bought well when he had real money (Lukaku, McCarthy,Mori)...Pep even confirmed he couldn't do what hes done at City last week without huge money....so yeah, more nonsense from you here.

Mike walker on a 'hiding to nothing' -- No words can describe how bizarre of a statement that is...

5mil transfer budget of which 50% went to Vinny Samways.

Didn't take us backwards? Would have been relegated under him and lucky Royle saved the club.

Martinez had 'unprecedented backing'....that's laughable.

Martinez -- ruined the club?? WTAF!!!

The part I've made larger is just extremely suspicious...in any rate Koeman and Allardyce cant be blamed for spending more money than Martinez and still not winning the derby against a forward line recently of Ings and Solanke...it's Martinez' fault lol

Nail on the head right there...the club owed him money...didn't pay up so he went to court for his monies owed. Fair play to him...rotten from the club.

I really don't know what to make of you whatsoever....that's probably the nicest think I could hope to write.

Right sooooooo are you going to explain why I'm wrong or just sit there going "that's a lie" then walking off hi fiving your mate (who I noticed is leaving other people to fight his battles) like it's some kind of burn.

What you put says to me your another one of those Martinez apologists. Who would of still been swallowing any of the crap he was peddling while he took us down. Playing boring ineffective football.

Sorry but who this season could of played in Baines position? Garbutt? Wasn't registered in the first half of the season and obviously isn't good enough. And if you think Martina is good enough to play there then that just shows everything you know about football.

A aging squad? Some of the players we getting on obviously but players like Baines, Coleman, kev, Gibson, jelavic and naismith were all in their prime years. The players who were getting on were still good enough to play ie jags (who is still playing to this day), distan, heitinga and pienaar. Also remembering the players he sold like fellaini and victor anichebe. With youth prospects coming of age such as Barkley, stones and garbutt the squad wasn't such a ageing mess as you make out really.

Weren't in relagation battles huh? Well in Martinez second season on the 8th of January we were on 21 points and just lost four on the bounce to hull, Southampton, Newcastle and stoke. Eventually finishing 11th 12 points from 18th 9 points from 17th and If that doesn't sound like relagation form I don't know what does.

Martinez 3rd season half way through the season we were on 26 points finishing on 47 points. 10 point ahead of 18th and 8 points ahead of 17th, we'll finish on more points this season, with allerdyce in charge and it being recorded as one of our worst in recent memories.

So there's your proof it's not a lie. You see I like to do this little thing when I'm debating with someone. I use facts to back up my opinions and to explain why I feel that way. I don't use my opinions as facts, maverick I know but I feel it works for me.

Here's my favourite part of your reply. For starters Martinez was given over 100 million to spend on players in his 3 years in charge. Bearing in mind that only a few seasons earlier we went 4 transfer windows unable to bring in anything other then free's I'd say this is a substantial amount for everton at the time. Of which he used to buy crap, absolute dross like mori when we could of had vvd, paying 2 million to get Barry who was on a free because he'd cocked the loan agreement up with city. Apart from lukaku you could rip apart every penny he spent that money on.

But let's forget all that, let's get down to the other part you your post. The fact that Martinez style of play needed players that everton couldn't afford to work. With even the best manager in the world admitting he couldn't get it to work with out spending obscene amounts of money.

Answer me this simple question then if your such a footballing genius and I'm so thick and full of crap. Why the bloody hell were we playing a style of football that even the best manager in the world couldn't get it to work with our budget and players? The man is a egotist, a fraud who would rather ruin and see any team he manages relagated rather then change his "beautiful football" even with your own words doesn't work... So yeah more nonsense from you there.

100 million in 3 years not significant to you considering that the previous manager hadn't spent that much in his first decade in charge?

Mike walker took over a releagation battling side was given very little to spend on the squad and left us a relagation battling side. He was crap no doubt and thankfully the club stepped in and Joe took over. He would of gotten us relegated I agree and so would of martinez but the difference is walker took over a team already battling relagation. Martinez took over a top 7 side and turned us into a side battling relagation.

You see the difference there? Can you understand the difference between taking over a relagation battling side and turning a side into a side battling relagation?

No Martinez isn't to blame for the last derby that's just silly but for me Martinez is a reason why we have allerdyce in charge in the first place. He is to blame for the derby just being crap now and nobody caring about it.

If he'd of been any sort of a man he would of walked after the derby but no he just blamed everyone else and took us to the fa cup semi. Knowing full well the murder it was causing our fan base. Knowing he'd lost the dressing room but nope it had to be all about him And it was as always everyone else's fault.

I know exactly what to make of you and that's the nicest thing I can say.

@davek shots fired here mate!

Please not the Watford reject. I can see as big a thread as the Allardyce thread, minus the personal insults about his appearance. On the other hand the Watford reject does remind me of a .......
