I think its the only way forward to progress

You reckon pochetino head wont get turned when utd come in for him? They may aswell just ditch him now

To the point he allows himself to disconnect from his duties? I don’t think so. Spurs still had a decent season.

If you want to progress you need a manager who can strongly commit to the club. You have got to have a project to the forthcoming years and a manager that abides with it.

The season isn’t over and Sam is still our manager. He won’t be announced till after Allardyce is gone. Relax lads. No need to get worked up until the season is over. I’d worry then

I'm not sure if that's reassuring..or not.
There just isn’t a need to get worked up right now. You’d think he has already found a home in London by now judging some of the reactions. Nothing has happened yet, and it wouldn’t be the best PR move to fire Sam out of the door with 2 games left.

Moshiri hasn't exactly got good form in hiring the right people..

walsh - useless with no experience in the DOF role. the more you think about it, its a completely shocking appointment.

koeman - mixed form as a manager and could never be classed as top notch

allardyce - need I see anymore

and he continues to retain kenwright as an advisor.

I simply can not see us going balls out and hiring an unproven young coach.

it will be more of the same old crap under this stewardship

I still think Koeman was the highest profile manager we could have attracted at the time Frank, he had just taken Saints higher than the boy Poch did, despite him losing their best player, he wasnt top drawer, he did very well in his first season, now we know how it ended, but I think he was a sensible appointment. I didnt want him beforehand, but as I say, I dont think we could have got a "bigger" manager than him at the time, we had just come off the back of 2 11th place finishes and werent really attractive.

Walsh, yeah in hindsight it was a terrible decision, but again, I dont think there were many other options around, we flirted with Monchi, who jogged us on and Walsh was coming off the back of the Premier Leagues greatest fairytale. Brands has admitted that we were interested in him back then and he also jogged us on then.

And as I keep saying with regards Sam, he was the right person at the right time for me.

But yeah, its all about what happens next really.

instead of going for Koeman, Moshiri, if he had any football sense and some guts, could of appointed a fonseca type at the time. instead he went for the safe option in Koeman and again the safe option in Allardyce.

Moshiri is not a forward thinking person. this much has been realised.

I think Sam stays.

IF Brands comes in , then he will have to bend towards allardyce's style, or else we will end up with more Sandro's and Klassens, filling up the wage bill and not getting game time.

going to be interesting summer.

either massive upheaval... or a summer of little change . I fancy the latter
