Heres the thing, if West Ham are actually getting Emery and Pellegrini in, theres NO excuse for us not to do that. You say "Well, there isnt a chance", but thats not true if they are showing up for interviews. Of course they know we exist. They wouldn’t be a very good manager if they didn’t know a consistent Premier League team, would they? It wasn’t long ago we were never out of the coveted top 6 places.

Foncesa's secretary told him he's got an offer from the city of Liverpool and they want to invest in him and help him shape the squad and challenge for a top four space.

He was confused at first, didn't know how to change an already-proven formula in Mane, Firmino, Salah, and then also realised they are on the cusp of winning the damn Champions League and are becoming regulars in the competition once again.

Then she told him it's the Everton job, and he laughed his arse off and said he'd rather be in war-torn Ukraine.

Why is it only ever Everton who have a short list and interviews for the manager job? Most other clubs just pick their target, court him for a whole, then offer it.
