Please?!
His ears give me the Willys.

To be fair someone mentioned that BFS would be sacked today before the meeting was mentioned for today. So I hope they are right about fonseca being the manager as well because the first part is done. Here’s for hoping but I’m an evertonian so lightening probably won’t strike twice

People have no idea how good he is. Winning a league worse then the spl tells us nothing. Yet people are creaming themselves over him.
If we hire him it would be a gamble. It may or may not pay off. The crowd mentality of this place lacks any logic.
Few years back we all wanted
Vítor Pereira
Now he is collecting coin in China, after several good season in substandard leagues but an unsuccessful stint in Germany, his first real test. That would ha e been Everton.

Do you mean the same crowd mentality that wants Marco Silva?

It's this fella or bust. Silva will ruin us.
Why? Fonseca is no more proven than Silva.

The fact that Silva had a better record in all seasons where the 2 of them were in the same league should not be dismissed. Fonseca could be great, but he could also be crap. There's no guarantees.

Silva also now has PL experience has seen how tough it is and still has the balls to back himself to do well at Everton. He will know that if he doesn't his reputation as a coach will have taken a severe dent, very early in his career. Martinez was very lucky to get a National Managerial role after his stint with Everton, and probably took it because he knew how tough it would to recover his reputation in a club role. Emery and Fonseca could afford for it to not work out because they don't have Hull and Watford struggling in the PL as their last 2 clubs.

Fonseca on Monday

The same Ukrainian news outlet says when asked about his future, the Portuguese coach replied: “That’s a very difficult question. Can I answer you in two days?”

HE KNEW the gravy train was leaving Wednesday.....

leave me grasping at straws.....
