He won't be coming here.

I just hope he doesn't end up like emery / tuchel/ favre type of manager that we could have got in but chose a worse option.

I would like to hope for once that we are seriously considering our options rather than just lining one name up only for the third time in a row

Lol at thinking we could have got any of them, well Favre possibly but the other two... no chance whatsoever.

That's forward thinking.

You sure you are talking about Everton?

Bonkers if he ends of staying at Shakhtar now given his stock currently. Can't believe that no one in Europe will have wanted him.

TBF he gets guaranteed CL football at Shakthar, at the business end of the competition as well. Coming to us or West Ham would be a step down - would we be even able to offer him better wages, I doubt it?

no I am saying they beat the best team in the prem league
I know, but you're insinuating that he must be a great manager because of it.

All I'm saying is we signed Martinez on a similar premise (beating city in the cup final) and it blew up spectacularly.

Paulo Fonseca prefers Shakhtar to West Ham

Paulo Fonseca has given priority to the continuity in Shakhtar at the expense of a possible change to West Ham

Paulo Fonseca gave priority to the continuity in Shakhtar at the expense of a possible move to West Ham, with which he met on Monday in London. According to THE GAME, the Portuguese coach and the Donetsk club agreed to renew the contract between the parties, which expired at the end of the season, for another two years.

The formalisation is expected to happen in the coming days and the new agreement will allow Paulo Fonseca to receive an annual salary in the order of four million euros cleaned per year.
Interesting translation! Must be doing something else besides management on the side

I think the fact that he beat man city in the champions league shows that he is a manager capable of beating the big teams which is a manager I want.

I don't want another season of beating the bottom 10 teams but not competing against the top 10.
