That was a final game dead rubber for City, they had already qualified at a canter. It is still an impressive result but Basle went to the Etihad in the round of 16 and beat City after getting thrashed in the first leg.

I'm concerned he's the easy option. I'm more concerned it'll be him because he won't be getting much of a transfer kitty after last summers balls up.

Not really an easy option given the hassle we've had in getting him (if we do end up getting him, that is).

If we do, at least we seem to have a plan and be sticking to it. Can you imagine if we came out now and said we need to start identifying managerial targets. This should be boxed off by next week. Especially as we're in a world cup year.
 
looking like well pay a massive fine or points deduction (sorry if already covered) for silva so worth thinking about maybe

We appear to be the only ones who are even interested in him. Events change, there are others available, and it seems Moshiri is sticking to his original plan. He's not got a thing right yet.
 
It is interesting that Fonseca turns down West Ham the same day that we sack Allardyce. Just wishful thinking on my part though i think as Fonseca or Emery would be my preferred choices.
