This is my feeling too. Why the hell would he leave that to come to us?!

He's held Shakhtar together for a while now. He's been in those situations before. The Ukraine league stops now for 8 weeks winter break. Donetsk cant even play in Donetsk. He's been after English jobs for a while now. I fully expect Sam but there's explanations why this bloke would be interested.

Why? Manager of a Ukrainian Premier League who may make the knock out stages of the Champions league or of a Premier League club with a history such as ours... no competition... even without the significantly extra salary he would earn with us. It's where most managers aim to be... the only reason it appears most people aren't interested in us, is because those linked are already managing in the league. The rest are washed up former international managers.

The reason most people aren't interested in us is because our board do not inspire confidence or indeed have an aura of competence about them - like, for instance, the row that is apparently going on over whether to appoint someone like Fonseca or someone like Allardyce.
