I agree that it is all about the stadium, but I also think it needs only a guarantee of completion for it to be as good as done for a would-be buyer.

I guess the question is at which point is the completion inevitable? Not just yet, you’d have to say.

He was the first to report on something which everone else followed on!

I think it was the fact that:

1. He first broke the story as them being pretty much the only show in town (they might be, nobody else has popped their heads up)
2. A few days later he basically reprints the same story with paragraphs shuffled around.
3. Earlier this week he more or less published a consortium PR exersize that told us how wonderful they are, and just about stopping short of saying its free ale for everyone forever.

Basically, took their word on everything and doubled down with each 'scoop'
