Its a good job I found it.

The current Everton caretaker manager, Duncan Ferguson, his second stint in the role, is also understood to have been interviewed in London today. The club had switched to those four candidates after the withdrawal of their first choice, Roberto Martinez, earlier this month when the Royal Belgian Football Association blocked any possibility of a job-share with the Belgium national team in a World Cup finals year.

He never said Martinez was ever getting the job.

….I admit to not knowing if thE Kenyon Consortium would’ve been good or bad for our club, but I have woken up this morning feeling content it’s not happening.

As tweeted by Peter Buxton, ‘the winning bidders don’t tend to give a running commentary on their offer’, so there could be discussions happening that we have absolutely no idea about.

That's exactly how I feel this morning.

I would welcome a change at board level because what we have is clearly sub standard in pretty much every measure, but this whole process was a bit too public for me.

For the Kenyon bid to be so open about it smacks of desperation on their side. (after reading the pdf shared by @Azza theyre clearly a desperate bunch)

All this noise about Moshiri being skint doesn't stack up. I don't doubt he'd like to finance the rest of the stadium, it makes sense. He's hardly shaking a paper cup outside of Costa.

The timing to sell makes no sense either. I get the argument over cutting his future exposure (finish the stadium continue to fund our loses) but I doubt he'll be satisfied walking away having failed. (failed meaning taking a big hit)

Let's see.

I wonder if he is finding it impossible to get a loan on viable terms and is getting cold feet about putting another 400 million of his own money into the construction costs, now that his Uzbeki benefactor is no longer in the picture.

….if that was the case, would he not have dismissed the Kenyon Consortium as soon as they made their initial approach?
Well most reports were talks originally started when Moshiri was looking for stadium investors. Overall, none of us will know where Moshiri's head is at but I think he'd have to be absolutely blown away by an offer to sell. This group had many red flags

Moshiri pretty much came out of the blue when he bought his shares originally
