One of the two is meant to be Arabs/Middle East

Lets hope so! But have to remember that Portsmouths Fake Sheikh was billed as being some Middle Eastern giant businessmen a long with 1-2 failed buyers for RS and Newcastle over the years.

We need to go through all buyers with a fine comb regardless of their nationality.

He’s in hole for £800m Minimum…So he would want that back

clearly he can’t even get £500m …let alone stadium financing (although that might actually be easier than selling the club).

my question is this. What attracted the club to the Kenyon deal above others? what was wrong with them inthe first place?
If you read the reports the Kenyon group where in as investment , providing stadium finance. As it progressed they went balls in to buy the club.

Hes in the hole for less than that.

Hahahaha flapping a bit here are you that Mosh Man is gonna get replaced with someone that has a clue about running a football club?

Loans of 550m to the club, a purchase price of around 200m, plus 100m+ on the stadium.

800m seems about right.

Didnt he pay less for the stadium?

A lot of the money has been provided by Blue Holdings hasnt it? As far as I'm aware, the directors if that org havent been named.

Anyway he wont be getting 800m back.

Quite worrying that should Farhad not sell up soon we are possibly faced with him continuing to underwrite all the losses and thus his valuation will likely increase, or we face possible administration

Why would we end up in administration? It's not like he's strapped for cash, he just wanted to share the load. I think he'd rather sell us below market value than call in the administrators.

Yes. Its worrying.

There is a chance that AU gets sanctions lifted.

Which won't matter in the slightest mate, we still wouldn't be able to be sponsored by any company associated with Russia - which basically all his are.

Also the sanctions appeal is to the EU court - Brexit means it will have no influence on British sanctions policy. Same as the US have seperate sanctions list so to does Britain.

It's why Abramovic just sold up - he could have (rumour says he is appealing his too) appealed - but again it would have had zero actual effect on the situation at Chelsea - hence why he saw the writing on the wall.

Policy is to drive any Russian influence out of the league - makes me very very wary thst if Moshiri tries to keep control.then we will see other things happening in terms of 'penalties' applied, as there will be external pressure placed upon the league at high levels. I can guarantee that.
