I'd Have Digne, Bissaka and Hazard in that team. But the rest you cant really argue with.

Of course they are good players, but alternative prem team of the year?!?!?!

I assumed it was based on the website's average ratings for their performances, rather than someone just picking them as their stars of the season? If that's the case, there's not a lot to argue about really is there, the highest rated players are the highest rated players.

It is picked, it is their alternative team of the year so plenty open to scrutiny.

Fair enough then. I thought that's why they'd put the ratings on there, and it bears a striking resemblance to the team of the season on their website which is based on their average ratings, only without any of the players in the PFA team in it.

Its the highest rated players in each position.

However if another player was the highest rated but was in the PFA team they havent included them...

Digne was highest rated left back but not in PFA team

VVD was highest rated centre back but in PFA team so omitted

Solely based on ratings.

DCL failed to score and he kept a clean sheet. I think only the most rabid DCL fanboy would claim that he won that battle of wills
