I can't wait for him to leave this club. There was a time when he was a decent player for us but that's long gone. He's never been a good captain for this club, ever. He's sums up the losers mentality that's so horribly embedded into this club. It's no wonder newer players quickly lose any sense of pride and standards when they see club veterans of more then a decade with such attitudes still around. The sooner we purge the likes of Jagielka from this club the better. The sooner they go, the sooner we can begin to reform an identity for the club and our players, preferably one that doesn't encourage cowardice and mediocrity.

Need to punt the likes of Ferguson and the 'lads' behind the scenes such as Jeffers (what the actually f was he doing back there?), et al. Fully agree with your post.

Should offer Jajelka a loan now to give him some football until the end of the season, or just offer to cancel his contract if somebody comes in for him, as I am sure clubs would if they knew he was surplus to requirements.. I think he could do a job for a struggling side in the league, and would be ok in the Championship. He's probably got until the end of next season left in him before he retires. Could see him going to the States tbh to top up on that Hollywood tan he sports, thus prolonging his career by another year or two and getting him some more millions in the bank.

That whole 'old boys club' we seem to have going on won't stop till Kenwright goes imo, it all stinks of his doing tbh

I honestly don't know what players like jagielka we've had for a while, do to our mindset.

They must emit a negative vibe before every time we play a top 6 team.

Probably the new lads turn to experienced heads such as Jagielka and say "Phil, you've been here a long time. Tell us how you always dealt with these big occasions." And he'd answer something like "Er, well, I've only actually been on the winning side when we've played away against a big six team twice in 12 years, so basically do the opposite to what I always did and you'll be fine."

I get the image in my head that they're a bag of nerves, say nothing and use words which makes everyone mentally think we've already lost.

Obviously a great player...Rio Ferdinand used to watch videos of his play so as to become a better CB.
And I'm pretty confident in asserting that all the great PL captains of the past decade have Capt Jags to thank for their acquiring such honed leadership skills.

And how handsome is he now? Fab tan.

Hopefully he gets a 3 year extension...Blue Bill, make it happen!!!
