Individual errors can't be Distin's fault.Think there's one common factor regarding all of his poor performances this season and that's Distin.
He's looked just fine alongside Stones and Cahill.

So, Jagielka's loss of form is Distins making? You couldn't make it up.....Jagielka's loss of form is Jagielka's loss of form. Distin was, and remains a better all round bet than Jagielka at centre half...he has recovery pace, is more comfortable on the ball and miles better distribution. In fairness to Jagielka he is a more traditional centre half who has the ability to throw himself in front of any challenge but ultimately lacks technical quality.
Yes. Neither are world beaters, but Jags is the only regular who, in my opinion of course, struggles with our possession-based approach. You reckon??
Disagree mate, of the two Jags seems far more comfortable on the ball than Distin and when on form is better positionally as well - he often regains the ball without having to make a tackle. Distin is by far the better athlete though and tbh both have improved on the ball since Martinez took over. So, Jagielka's loss of form is Distins making? Fair enough, it's about opinions....I'm definitely less confident of retaining possession if Jags has the ball than if Distin has it.
Although I like Distin, the reverse is usually true for me! As you say though we look at the game through different eyes and if we all had the same opinion it would be boring.Fair enough, it's about opinions....I'm definitely less confident of retaining possession if Jags has the ball than if Distin has it.

But Jagielka of old wouldn't be on edge because of a dodgy partner I don't think. They can in a sense.
Positioning errors, for example Jagielka being too deep against Chelsea, could just as easily be Distin's fault. Plus there's the fact playing with someone you don't trust puts you on edge and means you may get caught out trying to clean up their mistakes.
Still BOSS.
