Sad to see as he's been a great defender over the years for us. In the run up to his injury before the FA cup final he was as good as anyone in the league, and was a master of the last minute block or tackle.

But time and injuries have caught up to him now, he's lost a lot of pace and keeps getting caught out of position.

It's gone, well and truly. Everything he does nowadays seems so rash because he can't keep up with play anymore. Every time we start him we might as well throw the ball in our net. Two CBs are needed, one to replace him and one to provide serious back up. Not convinced Funes Mori is the answer either.

We can't control a game if he plays. He can't win simple long balls. He loses out every time.

For all his faults Mori defends on the front foot, gets us up the field and narrow the space for the opposition between our lines.
