This is what i like about Koeman. No sentiment in team selection, you play rubbish you are out and somebody else is given a chance. Too many time in the past we have shoe-horned in under performing players.

Players know where they stand, you play well you are in, performance levels drop and you have time on the bench. Keeps everybody fresh.

Thought he was solid again and showed a flash of his old self at one point doing a great tackle and then striding out confidently with the ball.

I know his time with us is coming to an end but I so want him to go out on a high note playing well as love him to bits.

He has no winning mentality. He's been a great servant, but we've out grown him and it's time for him to move on. Winners only need apply.
