Jagielka and Barry...sometimes experience can help to shut up shop. They proved it today. If there is an injury crisis like now I rather have expienced CB as cover rather than untied young lads. I rather Everton win 3 points every week. Maybe both will stay next season as cover?

Another great performance today. As players get older often they need to be managed more astutely. I remember he was fantastic against Arsenal in the game he was sent off, and was very good at united Wednesday, but he will need managing. Hopefully he can remain on as a back up option to be used as and when we need him.

He's coming to the end of his playing career, but it's good to see him today, and on Tuesday at Old Trafford playing at his best again.
I suspect we'll sign a replacement this summer and it'll be down to him whether he wants to stay or move on, but he's done great for us in his time at the club so I hope he sticks around for another season.

Happy for him, other than Arteta, Cahill and Rom he's been our best player since I've been watching everton in 04. Getting old sucks but if there has been any Evertonian who deserves to go out as a starter its him.
