Skysports.com understands that Steven Pienaar has agreed terms on his move to Everton.
The South African international arrived in England on Thursday and has took little time in finalising his contract.
Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that a loan deal has been agreed, and it is understood that there is an option to make the move permanent next summer.
Manchester City had also been linked, but Everton have moved quickly for the versatile midfielder and will wrap up the signing over the weekend before officially unveiling him on Monday.
Pienaar, who has also passed all medical checks at Everton's training HQ Bellefield, will become the Toffees' second signing of the summer following on from the signing of Phil Jagielka.
