Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Can go both ways these types. Gueye hadn’t really done much when Villa went down. Same with Sissoko and Wijnaldum at Newcastle. A new challenge can reinvigorate players. That said if he turns out to be another slow player who can’t pass then I’ll be annoyed we’ve signed yet another player of that type.
Gueye was bought on the back of good ball winning stats and it worked out. Wijnaldum was bought because the RS midfield requirement is literally just the ability to run full speed for 90 minutes. Sissoko still stinks. My point is those worked because they were bought for very specific and reasons and this will too as long as we have a specific thing we see in Hojbjerg we like and want him to do for us.

Not seen him play at all. But maybe he could be our Henderson? Non glamour signing but does all the basics well, keeps the team ticking and allows the more flair players to do their thing?

Edit: If we get any flair players in that is!

Put me in the Yikes column.
Look back at This forum and what posters said about the likes of Lukaku.
We also have posters tonight sayin ancelotti is no better then big sam.
Most supporters are clueless.

Put me in the Yikes column.

Honestly 6 months ago when the falling out happened loads of their fans on twitter were gutted and he was the best thing since sliced bread.

It’s just fickle football fans, he walks into our team.
