Can go both ways these types. Gueye hadn’t really done much when Villa went down. Same with Sissoko and Wijnaldum at Newcastle. A new challenge can reinvigorate players. That said if he turns out to be another slow player who can’t pass then I’ll be annoyed we’ve signed yet another player of that type.

Thankfully we aren’t the ones getting paid millions to do this, so we have room to be wrong
