He stayed behind after our home game to agree terms and the following day he viewed FF. Everton then treated him to a supper in The Hot Wok,and put him up for the night in The Banjo in Bootle...no idea;

Hojbjerg agrees personal terms with Everton after Saints accept £25m offer
PIERRE-EMILE Hojbjerg has visited Everton’s training ground and agreed to personal terms after Saints accepted their £25million offer.www.dailyecho.co.uk
£25m seems like a lot considering we reportedly bid about £15m a few days ago.
Isn't Chico still the authority on the jarg names?
Won’t be 25 upfront. 15 with Addons I’d expect, maybe a bit more£25m seems like a lot considering we reportedly bid about £15m a few days ago.
...The Daily Echo (not sure if that a Southampton newspaper?) reckons he’s agreed personal terms at USM FF today.
Normally, I’d say it’s unlikely to have happened at USM FF, but it might make sense given COVID issues.
(Edit: Just checked and The Daily Echo is a Southampton newspaper).
Spurs may be favourites as Southampton have a fullback off them on loan who has played a lot for them this season, and the guy we are after prefers Spurs.......but you never know its Spurs chairman...........the details are yet to come out, it might be £25m with add-ons or a straight £25m take it or leave it offer.
He’s clearly somebody both Brands and Ancelotti wanted and I think that’s a lot to do with the type of player and the type of character he is.
Often he has been head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl’s “manager on the pitch”, reminding team-mates of their instructions and leading by example. He is said to be smart and intelligent, a good presence in the dressing room, and has retained the trust of his manager despite the contract impasse.
Good write up in the Athletic about him recently. Including this passage:
They also mention that 'data scouts at European Champions League clubs' are very fond of him. The stats they show are far superior than anything we've got.
