Warrington settled in nicely it looks like and Astley still doing well.

Dobbin starting which is a bonus though getting hooked after 53 minutes maybe means he wasn't doing too well.

A mixed bag for the rest. I'm hoping Gibson is out injured otherwise that's looking like another poor choice of loan as that'd the 2nd or 3rd matchday squad he hasn't made.

Thanks for the updates though Sona, there greatly appreciated ;)

According to Calciomercato, they have to qualify for Champions League in 2nd season.

According to Foot Mercato, they had an obligation to buy that they can't get out of which would indicate the above clause isn't correct.

Depends what you believe. I fully expect us to get the full amount paid at the end of the season.

Hopefully the second one is true, because Juventus are utter poo and could easily finish 6th.

Always enjoy reading the loaned players review.

This week it seems they were a bunch of flaccid wangers.

Never mind.

Think he's being doing alright, started out on the bench then got in the starting line up. Got a couple of assists I think.
See he was subbed off early enough tonight though
Looks like they think he is a little lightweight.

Choice quotes from Lincoln game below

Dobbin. - 7. Always lively. Put a shift in. Never should have been hooked. Post him up top.

Dobbin 5 (worked back well, repeatedly chose wrong option in attack)

Dobbin - 4 (Gave the ball away far too much and made errors in good positions)

Looks like their team is gash though. Struggled to find any outrageous posters on the very boringly named https://dcfcfans.uk/ Disappointed all round but will keep searching.

Not too impressive from our loanees last night but Lewis Warrington impressed in his first full game.

Assistant Coach Steven Whittaker said, “I thought Lewis was fantastic; we want to play through him at times and he did well at that. It’s great to see him play like that and he just needs to match those levels now week in, week out.

“I think we can play through him more now as he’s a player we need to get on the ball so he can give us a little bit more control than we have done in previous games.”

A statistics website said:

'The central midfielder won no fewer than seven of his duels in total, the joint-third most out of his teammates, while he also recorded a team-high five tackles and made one clearance

His ability to keep hold of the ball was vital at times, recording the second-most touches of the away side with 56, while he also produced four accurate long balls, one key pass and an 82% overall passing accuracy.'
