Hope so, That could definitely be the start of a good working relationship with Lille. And that can only be a good thing with the talent that they find/bring through there system.

Was at the game. He played well, two very good assists. Still walks around a lot, but spreading the play well and with quick attackers and PSG's high line he was able to play balls into space. Hopefully that can help yield a half decent fee for him come the summer.

Absolutely not, I was on a 'romantic' weekend away with my partner and managed to sweet talk her into going to the game! Some game to stumble into as well, thank god it wasn't a 0 0!
Just a happy byproduct Gomes was playing, I informed her that he's the good looking bloke that strolls about in the middle.
He could have been awful so far this season for all I know, but looked decent on Sunday. Lille have a half decent team, their forward players especially seemed lively, should have easily won the game had they been more clinical.

Turning a romantic weekend, into a footy game... you are my new hero

I managed to squeeze in a pre season friendly between Everton and Paderborn on a romantic road trip to our wedding destination. 50 mile diversion but "technically" on the way from UK to Latvia.

Trick is mention the location first, then mention the bought tickets when you arrive.

For me he'll be very much a 'new signing' this summer.

Could easily see one of the 'big boys' drop £30-40mil on him if he was a PSV player.

Should be a breath of fresh air coming back, still only 6pts off the top and in the quarter finals of the cup.

A new contract and a little wish of mine to see how him and Onana do together.
