Nice to hear of other international fans! From Newfoundland, Canada. Started watching football about 3 years ago and fell in love with the blues for many of the same reasons. Although my buddy being a kopite helped me make the decision much easier lol can’t wait to finally be able to make the trek over this coming Christmas period and watch a few games at goodison! Here’s to hoping we’re playing for something important COYB

They are going to lose their heads when they hear a newfie accent. Welcome to GOT mate! Nice to get more Canucks on here.

I do not want to accuse you of being a bandwagon hitcher, but in choosing a top 10 team in the PL (toughest league in the universe), you are not exactly going out on a limb here. It's thesame with all the global fan-base Burnley is attracting by virtue of their PL status. Sure, Everton and Burnley are attractive options, but, as two of the biggest teams in Europe, neither are original choices.

But welcome anyway mate. If you ever get over to a game, make sure you catch up with a few of the lads from here for a pre-match drink. The Lisbon is the place to meet.

In the defence of all international fans our TV deals (at least in Canada) only show the premier league and the top clubs are shown more then bottom clubs. I still find myself having to stream half of Everton's games on Reddit. we cant watch games live unless we take a swim across the pond. so its not like we can start watching football which isn't as big over here and fall in love with a boro or wolves because we don't get to see them, plus we're the fans that take the club to the next level ;) that being said hopefully ill see you at Lisbon this coming Christmas, cheers mate

Yes mate: my post was more by way of an oblique slight at Everton's fall from stature, than your quality of selection. Trust me, anybody who chooses to support Everton, is anything but a bandwagon hitcher.

Strange. Here in Southern Ontario I can watch almost every one on either TSN or Rogers Sportsnet. (Although these days I'm regretting that a bit.) There might be one or two on TSN Go or Sportsnet Now (the online-only sites I don't subscribe to), but that's about it.

Is this an open invitation? Asking for a friend

Weird, from Newfoundland and this year it seems like Everton is last choice to be tevelvised. Have had to stream a lot (although not having sportnet world or tsn 2 until almost Christmas played a big role in that)
