It's funny - you're describing De Boer right there. That's exactly how I see him. He will get tactically better but he is one o the best young coaches in the world, no doubt about it. Don't agree that Mourinho would be a disaster also

De Boer smashed 200 votes hours ago even though there's been an acceptance for Koeman. This says a lot. #DeBoerIn

It is worth mentioning that both Cocu and De Boer were assistant managers when Netherlands narrowly lost in extra time to Spain in 2010's World Cup Final.

De Boer is a teammate of Guardiola. He is a young, flexible, ambitious coach who maximises youth and who would relish creating a brilliant team - I would love to see the players he would no doubt attract. It would be so exciting.

Koeman is older, and more of a Van Gaal or Hiddink. We should go for the former type. The exciting new breed. The Cruyff/Guardiola/De Boer/Cocu-Barcelona-total football connections.

I wonder what the poll results would be if people considered that in his 3 full seasons against Koeman between 2011-2014, De Boer came out on top (literally 1st) every time. Despite having 10 years+ less managerial experience and it being his first job. Still, pleased that many feel love for De Boer and he wins the poll.
