Big Sam will keep our cloggers in the league.

Look, I know most of you hate me (couldn't care less either) but I've been right about everything since the summer.

I said our signings were rubbish. I said that that Koeman overachieved at Saints. I said that Rooney would be a bad idea. I said that Sigurdsson would be a bad idea.

You all called me a Manc/Kopite/whatever but the truth hurts.

Big Sam will keep these horrible set of players in the Premier League. That's our aim now. Not winning trophies or qualifying for the CL but a manager with a plan who knows the league and how to stay in it.

Come on Sam, you're our only hope.

what do you want, a freaking medal, pipe down Swanc

Don't be daft we don't hate you, just that bragging about being right requires a certain flair or previously hard-won rep to make the boast valid.

Regarding Allardyce, the worrying thing now is how the chatting heads of the media are all talking him up for the job, as if Moshiri is readying us for the news.

People talk of Sam like he's some kind of Winston Wolfe figure. The clear-up man.
But he's only human. Perhaps our problems are beyond even his skills.

Nothing in life is guaranteed. There's always a chance we could go down even after appointing him, but he is undoubtedly our only real hope of survival.

He has kept up some truly abysmal squads in his day.

And unlike Moyes and Dyche, he's never got a side relegated.

Agreed I would say the Sunderland and Palace sides he kept up are worse than what we potentially have now.
