POLL: Would you like David Moyes back as Everton manager?

Moyes wouldn't be a boss anything at Everton.

Thats not really true though is it, hes prob one of the best judges of a player out there, certainly pound for pound. A role like head scout/technical director/Director of football it hink he would be brilliant at.

I think a point on Moyes that everyone forgets that he put in the existing Youth Structures as well, Walter more or less binned are youth system, loosing Stubbs, Baines, Jageilka and Barton in process.

Here is some time-lapse photography of Everton's trophy cabinet during Moyes 11 year tenure as manager. Look closely to observe the changes.

Cannot fathom this attitude.

No dignity or respect shown?

Moyes quotes
'i'm moving on to bigger and better things'.
'Everton are holding back their careers ' (Baines and Fellani).
'Glad to get out of old trafford alive'

Shame on supporters, local or otherwise for showing displeasure for the the man's shameless lack of 'dignity' and 'respect' towards a loyal fan base and a boss football club when he carried on taking our coin while straightening out his photo of fergie at his new desk. Whilst straightening out said photo at said desk he was wondering which players he would approach at our club knowing full well it would completely demoralise and destabilise our season.
Yeah we should of rolled out the red carpet and melted down Dean's statue and remoulded it in his image.
How are you taking choking at the Europa final last week yer cheeky trouble causing red scamp?

Move on.[/QUOTE]
I struggle to understand the vitriol towards Moyes.

Aside from Joe Royle's FA Cup, the club basically went through a succession of downward on and off field spirals.

Theatre Bill pops up, looks for value in the championship and lo and behold 11 years later and a squad featuring young England talent, that is cash positive with CL, Europa experience and an FA cup final behind them and we can't [Poor language removed] Moyes off fast enough.

I'm a wool and since the day I heard us boo his return, I'm f%$@%g glad I am. No sense of dignity or respect shown to the guy whatsoever.

For every Moshiri there's a mike Ashley. Be careful what you wish for and take note of who's turning us down.

I genuinely believe those in the media putting forward these opinions want us to remain plucky little Everton.
I don't think they're meeting in dark rooms and discussing and plotting our further fall from grace but it doesn't suit their agenda of keeping the status quo.
Heaven forbid Everton might get off their haunches, get down the gym and get back in shape.

The common demominator here is talkSPORT.

All these people pleading for Moyes to return are airing their views on that station.

They have always had a thing about Moyes.

I wish EFC would just come out and say he ain't in the running.

Because I am starting to get a bit anxious.

Just in case anyone with any influence in the final decision is reading this.

Appointing Moyes would lead to an enormous rift between the club and a sizeable portion, possibly a big majority, of the fanbase.

Do not even consider it......please :(

Spot on.

Remember the media campaign, particularly on talkSPORT, last summer when the press tried to bully us into selling Stones to Chelsea.

I do remember.

We've not been allowed to have and enjoy good players for a good long while now and it's got to change.
Good players always move on, even from mega monied clubs, it happens, but the press in this country can't bare for Everton to have fine players, seems to leave a bitter taste in their mouths. They simply have to go elsewhere, it just won't do.
I wanted Roberto out for a good while before the end but hats off to him the way he dug his heels in over Stones, his stubbornness worked for us there.

No.

Anyone voting "yes" are forgetting the last two to three years of dross he served up.

Bring in Heitinga for Neville at DM when we're down a goal anyone?
The football Everton played in his final season was excellent at times.

Doesn't change the fact that he's a born loser, like.
