Ferreira was pushed, but he was soft anyway. And WTF was Ricardo doing over there? If he came out he had to get to the ball. If he stayed between the posts he would never concede that third goal. He's crap, mate.

And the first goal, Ferreira got caught knapping there. Schweinsteiger comes from behind. That guy is always sleeping. He and Ricardo were to be the weakest link in the side. It has been for years.

The second goal, clearly was Ronaldo's fault. But Klose wasn't the only german left alone.

I know you understand what it is to lose to some hard to get individual errors. Robinson and Carson blew it against Croatia.

But again, it was nothing I wasn't exepcting.
 
Sotnas I thought Portugal were unlucky and poor defending and a goalkeeper I would not play in a kids game. cost them I agree about Ronaldo he seems to go missing in the big games I had cash on you winning tonight I was that sure but why did they shoot from stupid distances instead of using their undoubted skill to get nearer(y)
 
Should be fun Chelsea droping out of the top four this season under big Phil, theres no excuses conceadeing from set peices at that level and its due to bad coachin ghes been there long enough ot for that to happen!

I don't think it had anything to do with luck. Germans scored in the first two chances they had. Moments earlier, moutinho had a chance to put us in front but he failed.

This is called efficiency. But the german defence looked like butter in a hot summer day.

But in attack lies another major flaw in portuguese game. We don't have a culture of football in movement. We carry the ball too much at times. And against closed defences, we suffer to get in. That's tactical work that usually portuguese sides don't do. We rely too much on individual skill.

However, I noticed some improvements in that area, and today we could have done better because their defence is real crap.

Today we had chances to score and it seemed that we could have created far more with better decision making.

But we didn't score, and football is all about scoring more goals. In that depratment, fair play to germans, they deserved it. We didn't because we failed to score and we failed in defence.

Thinking about a leader, maybe Nani could be that leader in the future.

It was his fault for two of the goals.

A he got rosted time an time again.

I did consider Barrett but then he was boss for a while in a kind of "he's quick as [Poor language removed], can defend but can pass the ball" way, a-la-Des Walker.

Or even Jagielka.

Tony Thomas wins hands down if we're playing fair.
