positive reps

To give pos/neg rep, click the scales on top of the post.

The points are used in the vBookie, Neiler will do a Vbookie for every Everton game and you can bet on certain things. You have 500 cos your new, but if you spend it all, you will get 50 everytime a Vbookie is opened.

Dutch supports some Random team in Switzerland.

Don't get DT started on Fortuna Sittard! Although many blues have a sentimental soft spot for them.

Click on the scales top right of post to give rep.

Thank you. I can't resist the off-topic ones myself...I do have a footy question for you, Dutch, about supporting other teams. You are Everton, first and last and kneel at the altar of Dixie Dean, Kendall, etc...But, do you have second team you follow? Either in England or Holland. (I admit to liking some of the lower level teams I've managed in Football Manager, and play Feyenoord in soccermanager.com.But I don't buy their shirt, follow their results, etc.)

Hey, I was all set to throw out my few "cashews" (as opposed to mere peanuts) out there and then I realized I didn't know HOW to give positive reps. Can you, or someone else, fill me in? Please. I was trying to figure out how to do it but after about 10 minutes of poking around on "user" functions, I gave up. Figured someone here would tell me and I'd save time, particularly when I'm actually supposed to be working!!

Well, we're at it...How does this point system work? Might as well get out these questions out there all at once.

But, as some here have said, I'm not going to stress too much about these things going forward...But given it's still the ---honeymoon seems the wrong word, but the infancy of my tenure here, now does seem like the right time to ask.

OK -back to the dull part of my day.
First of all, I'm a massive Fortuna Sittard supporter. Always have been always will be. Follow them at home and away (not always the easiest thing, as they always play on a Friday). They and Everton are both my fave teams. Don't ask me to choose between them, because I couldn't possible do that. I know a lot of football fans are saying that you can only really have on footballing love in your life. Don't agree with that at all though.

As for giving pos or neg rep. just click on the little scale you see on top of the post you want to rep and leave a comment, or don't if you don't wish to do so.

How does the rep system work? Well, the more rep you get, the more green dots will appear next to your username. Never counted the maximum amount of green dots you can get, but it will work with levels/status along the way. At one time it was relatively easy to get to the highest (Goodison Legend) status and the mods decided to change the point system. If you want to see the rep you received, click on User CP. Have to be a Forum Supporter to see who actually pos/neg repped you.

I meant to ask this ages ago. Does anyone else play soccermanager.com? We should do some GOT networking on there.

Do you have a paypal account lcab? If so, go to the forum front page and click on the little paypal icon. You can enter the amount you want to donate. If you don't have an account yet, you can set up one, following the links shown after clicking on the icon.

Hope it made sense what I said. If not, just ask Danny through pm.(y)

.

Was thinking that would be a good thread question, if it hasn't been asked recently.

Being new...you know...Don't want to bore people by asking the same question they get asked every three months...It seems the answers to "why that team" and "how come that team" might be interesting reading.

I'll ask it tomorrow UNLESS someone says: no, check the archives, blah, blah, blah.
