Possible Goodison redevelopment.

For those that are interested...
(I know it's London not Liverpool but it is 8 years ago).

I think we would struggle to get 40m, but then, what do I know.

If that was the case, the developers would've been announced years ago and been ready to go as soon as the last match was finished. The truth is we've heard nothing about it for years and for all intents and purposes, the whole legacy project probably collapsed as soon as Usmanov was sanctioned.

The woman will still need a bigger stadium, and I believe that there could be potential to turn much of the existing stands into a working heritage stadium/museum, still actively hosting competitive Woman's and youth team football.

I thought the planning of Goodison had already been passed - as a retail outlet & a park ?
There was definitely plans for what was to go there shown at the same time of the stadium details. Just because that project could be given the go ahead doesn`t mean that has to be done, and it just means new plans would have to be submitted.

Sorry but that's rubbish.
The land could be sold for development. EFC need do nothing to make it suitable for sale.

Give away an asset? Are you a the board!
Out of interest, what do you estimate the cost of demolition and making the plot suitable for sale / development is and what do you think the value of the cleared land would be?
Equally what would you estimate the site ‘as is’ could be sold for?

It was an outline planning application that contained as many uses as they could possibly get. There is no obligation for any of it to be built nor does it prevent alternative planning applications being made.
