Both games are just as winnable, City more so as Moyes might come for a point, but Pep will play, and Carlo will love that.

They're beatable, every side is, but for me it's just about playing the odds. You go balls to the wall for a result against City, probably fail, then you're exhausted for an otherwise very winnable game against West Ham.

Some squads at the top end of the table can rotate the odd one or two players fairly consistently as they have actual squads. We don't. So where we have a game to rest the likes of Doucoure and DCL, ever presents in our side basically even if it means throwing the game, it's ultimately for the greater good IMO.

Which is why we should have done it for the Man U game but we didnt and came away with Richy out and players more tired. I agree its a risk but these are the games to risk it on. Obviously we cant rotate with any quality which is why you think we should roll over for the harder games, but if we want to be the threat we know we should be then we need to field our best team for the hardest games and then rotate for the lower teams.

Spot on and even if we rotate 4-5 we can still do enough to nick a result if we set up right I mean who would have given WBA a chance against City and the RS?

Ridiculous. Gordon couldnt produce in the last game so why would he start against City, Tosun shouldnt get near a shirt, Id rather see Iwobi up top. Just dont know why people want to roll over when we are in second and pushing for champions league. Also how would that team "nick a result" of anyone?

Bernard, Gordon and tosun are definitely getting game time here. I can see Coleman and nkounko as our starting wing backs, with Keane and branthwaite in the middle??

yes, we need to field a strong team to keep pushing, but we can’t destroy the players. There’s a long way to go here.
