I now think the announcement of FBI inquiries is just another way to slow-walk the process through the campaign until the election is over.

That said, this is making the rounds of those who have held security clearance at some point of their lives and really understand what's up with Hillary and her secret server. If the Justice system really worked in the USA, you'd probably see this happen, except you won't because the fix is in...

What a pair. I voted for Big Dog, too. Twice. Go figure.

lol

Trumps apparently announced he is anti abortion and that there should be a punishment for women who get one...

If he comes through this smelling of roses then nothing will stop the cretin.

Never hugely bought into the main stream media conspiracy stuff but none of the major news networks carried any ongoing coverage of the 3 contests coming in last Saturday night. CNN ran something about Jesus for about 4 hours! After Sanders gained in delegates, both CNN and MSNBC switched to delegate totals including super delegates. Last night CNN was wall to wall Trump and his chief of staff. They hardly had anything about the Clinton camp conceding to Sanders and agreeing to a NY debate. Both Comcast (MSNBC) and Time Warner (CNN) are contributors to the Clinton campaign. These are private companies, it's all perfectly above board, the mind boggles!

Agreed for the most part, although last Saturday was the night before easter so the jesus thing isn't a surprise. Agree about the rest though

Do you guys think this election is really splitting the parties, or will they strengthen, recompose, and remain? Given my political disposition I'd like to see more parties in the system, but don't see it happening.

I agree with you there. On the Dem side, I think the party establishment is well able to move left enough to gather the votes of any anti establishment candidate and then come back to the center as to avoid any party split. Unfortunately, for the republicans, any effort to include their fringe factions will result in them loosing at a national level. The country is too big for any third party to break the two party system. Even a candidate like Trump hasn't shaken the system. This all bodes well for the Dems and the status quo. (cues up lyrical puns!)

For the Dems it's a case of Whatever You Want.
