He wanted and more money FFS, Him and his rat agent wanted the move and he got it

So Moyes was in no way of any influence as to whether that player wanted to stay or go, despite being in charge of all footballing matters at Everton? I guess, just cos u say it's true, it must be true.

[Poor language removed] rat agent.

So if Moyes was the reason Pienaar wanted out why has he come back under the same manager?

People who know and then kindly divulge that info on this forum said so. I'm inclined to believe them.

Sorry, but I could throw the same argument back at you couldn't I? If he wanted more money, why is he back at Everton? Maybe I'm right Moyes was wrong to let him go for whatever reasons, and maybe I'm right, Moyes DESPERATELY needs him back now, and maybe Pienaar is happy to play football first and foremost?

Sorry if you all think I'm being a [Poor language removed], stupid, a beaut, or anything else, but I'm just a passionate Everton fan who wants the same as you. And I am disgusted that nothing is changing, just the same old bull****.

So a quick recap on why Moyes is a poor manager

He couldent stop Pienaar from leaving Everton to persue CL football and more more money at another club

He sold Stubbs and brought him back

He shouts stuff on the sideline

SACK HIM NOW

You'd think it wouldn't take 10 years to fulfil his ambitions at spurs, and he'd be in a better position at spurs to do so.

Spurs aren't going to sell all those players, no chance. They finished 4th, that carries weight. If Moyes is boss at getting gems for little money, he can attract better with the pull at spurs. I can't see Levy just pulling the plug and ruining the position they are in now...which is why theyll look for a bigger name manager who will hopefully be a draw to keep players there.

If he's asked, he'd go. I don't think he will be asked, but to me I don't think hell be thinking "what a tough choice" if they came knocking.

He won't have the weight of keeping a club in the premiership every season with a skint chairman at spurs

Say that he goes there and the three star players decide to move on. Spurs typically spend less than they bring in, so he'd have to replace them as well as fix major problems in the squad such as a lack of a strikeforce for less than he'd raise. Surely he'd end up with a weaker side than the one that he inherited by replacing top class players with cheaper alternatives. The job certainly seems like a 'poison chalice'.

Has Levy sacked Redknapp because of perceived disloyalty? It's very difficult to argue that it's for "footballing reasons". Whoever comes in will be judged against the style of play and league placing that Harry achieved. Spurs' strict pay structure will already be strained by the big names that they do have and the amount of dead wood that is in the squad, so I can't see them adding to it in the near future. I would imagine that the new manager will be charged with trimming the squad and only making necessary additions. It's a fine balancing act and a lot of pressure for any one.

David Moyes "as long as they want me I'm happy there, its all speculation. I'm loyal to everton and am their manager'

judging by his comments today it looks like he would take the spurs job if asked,
Levy went with the "european manager with experience" before with juande ramos,

AVB and benitez will probably be ahead of moyes but they both have a history with disagreeing and throwing their toys out of the pram when they have arguments with their owners,

He left because he thought the grass was greener and it has turned sour on him, Now he wants to come back to a club, players and MANAGER that understand him because he feels wanted and happy here

Levy and redknapp had been on decent terms for a while now, his sacking came as no surprise

spurs wouldnt sell 3 star players, lets say they sold bale for 35m, he could stick pienaar on the left, and spend lets say 15-20m improving other areas. its a decent squad of players to pick up even if one or 2 do leave.
and there would be some sort of money guaranteed every season even if only 8-10m.

Shot himself in the foot with the contrived conversation with Shearer, virtually called Levy a tw@t for sacking Redknapp.

Pity, cos his prepared answers left it open.

If he was on the list (and we all realise he never was) he just fooked it - pressure see - just like derby games.

Bollocks!!

haha I thought that too, if Levy was a fan of Moysey, then he's fkn not now

Let's say we don't get Donovan/Pienaar this summer. Let's say we don't. Anyone have faith in an impending, enjoyable season? Moyes is clueless. His hopes lie with Pienaar and if he can't sign him he's screwed. Such a genius manager right? ****in joke. I'm out
