The company who sent out the press release referred to above just sent me the team list for their Austrian training camps and Everton aren't on the current one.

Isn't it like the B-group goes there, i mean, the players who didn't make it to the US tour?

Once again to those of you who do not know the level of the MLS. The MLS is of Championship quality, which at first would lead one to wonder about lesser opposition in preseason. The major point to take into this is that the MLS will be in Mid Season form and these games will be played around their MLS fixtures.

I would say that playing a MLS team in Mid season form is as good as playing any top team in Preseason form .

If I remember correctly ManU lost a game to an MLS side last year during their preseason tour of the US.

Got to disagree there, only a couple of MLS teams would make it in the championship...but preseason isn't so much about the opposition, it is about the fitness levels and (hopefully) trying new things. It does help out immensely that MLS is in mid-season as their fitness levels will be up and be able to work out an out of shape team.

MLS is coming along, but it still has work to do.

Sky sports this morning reporting that moyes has said he will quit if Baines is sold.

Well, if true I couldn't care less.......one player doesnt make a team and he should have sold off deadwood instead of frittering wages on McFadden and other less than capable players (why have 3 goalkeepers Mucha/Hahnemann and Howard??).....

If we were offered 20mil GBP for Baines that would make him the 2nd most expensive left back in world football if im not mistaken.....wealthier teams have sold for less.

Davek, isnt this what you wanted him to do? He has not renewed his contract and is pushing the Board. This news should be right up your street.
