I would be distraught.

Davek, isnt this what you wanted him to do? He has not renewed his contract and is pushing the Board. This news should be right up your street.

Yes mate. The point is that he wont quit becuase he probably already has Fellaini halfway out the door but wants to look like a strongman over Baines.

Dont worry, Moyes will be here for seasons to come. He wont get £3M to £4M per year off anyone else.

I will have £50 with anyone that come the first day of the season both Baines and Fellaini will be Everton players.

Sneaky reporters man! One must have been in the office when Moyes and Billy when Moyes said "IF YOU SELL THAT BAINES DUDE IM OFF MAN" They get everywhere those reporters.
There were quotes in this article, right?

Well, if true I couldn't care less.......one player doesnt make a team and he should have sold off deadwood instead of frittering wages on McFadden and other less than capable players (why have 3 goalkeepers Mucha/Hahnemann and Howard??).....

If we were offered 20mil GBP for Baines that would make him the 2nd most expensive left back in world football if im not mistaken.....wealthier teams have sold for less.

i agree - 20 million for a left back is pretty good business. i am sure we could get a replacement and also use the rest of the cash to strengthen elsewhere.
i would prefer to keep baines but think that 20m is probably too good to turn down.

Fellaini is younger and worth far more to this team. I don't think any manager with half a brain would want to sell either, but if one had to go I'd bet Moyles would choose Baines.

we can't sell baines we don't have another fooking LB capable of stepping in the first team and other areas need strengthening first.

anyway its bollox.

although the way Bluefox is talking it looks likely.

Moyes is on holiday,I wonder just who's behind this work of fiction ?
I guarantee you there's no direct quote from moyes,'a source close to everton fc has revealed',or something along similar lines.
