He could win games, though. Tactically he could set up a team to win games they shouldn't.

His man management skills weren't great, he was a thorn in the side of any board he worked for and his transfer record was utterly appalling but give him eleven men, especially in europe, and he could beat a vastly superior team on his day.

He's achieved much more then Moyes has and while he is a truly repellent person and would be an utterly appalling choice for this club, he isn't actually that bad a manager. He's just not the living god the kopites make out either.

You say that as if Moyes has never won a game. This season we've beaten Tottenham, City and Chelsea as well as scoring 4 at Old Trafford.

Benitez is indeed very tactically capable. But he'd blow our entire transfer budget on Somen Tchoyi and Christophe Berra.
