Yeh but how is he? What does he do. I find it interesting when fans go on about tactics, but never give examples.

He put his players in a system that got the best out of them, which meant the likes of gerrard, kuyt, benayoun and torres went onto play a lot better then they have either before or since because the system was set up to maximise their skills. And he knew how to kill a game dead against a superior side by making good defensive subsitutions.

His Valencia team were one of the first teams in Europe to set up in the 4-5-1 that's so popular now, with two holding midfielders and an actual attacking three behind the front man rather than simply two wingers and a forward who drops deep. Which meant they outnumbered the more traditional sides in midfield and could choke games and win 1-0, and then when he went more attacking, he demonstrated that advancing the wingers to support a lone forward could be really dangerous if they cut in rather than stick to the sidelines.

And at Liverpool he used hamann, and later mascherano, as a man marker to shackle the playmakers of opposing teams and make a really ropey back four airtight. He was a defensive manager but he was good at it. They would get 0-0s away at Barcelona and Real Madrid etc. The problem with Moyes is we're often quite bad at parking the bus. We invite pressure that we can't cope with.

We really shouldn't of fumed as much over we did about the small club thing though should we?

But like davek says, we're not a small club, we're just not a top club.

Possibly came off bitter with the fuming we did and still do, but Everton's like my family, and you don't take insults at your family.

And at Liverpool he worked out he used hamann as a man marker to shackle the playmakers of opposing teams and make a really ropey back four airtight. He was a defensive manager but he was good at it. Cheers mate, I agree with you. He was decent with the old tactics like.

A few interest me

Brain McDermott has talked numersous times in the past how much he likes us as fans and as a club, I think he would be a good shout given our current owners
Gianfrance Zola with a strong number 2 would certainly increase the boring rubbish we have produced to many times under Moyes. If we are not going to win anything, at least entertain us.
Eddie Howe has done really well at Bournemouth and now Burnley, he is worth considering.
Slavan Bilic would be a decent choice
I would have Benitez for his superior tactical ability, im sure he would get the best out of our squad

Lad put the fookin crack pipe down. I'd rather keep Moyes an that's saying something...

See kids, stay of the bobby or you'll end up talking bubbles like this.

Jesus Christ.

Redknapp
Bilic

and now

Rafael.

Im considering self harm here lads.
no wonder i get smashed after reading some of the ****e on here ,bilic benitez, who next frank clarke ,big ron , what about ronnie moore ,ive told ye lad this gaff is full of geoff strongs

He's insulted this club in the past, for one.

And he has a history of wasting ridiculous ammounts of money on transfers and then bitching to the board about not being supported enough. He'd utterly bankrupt a club as skint as us because he wouldn't for a moment accept sell to buy.

Not to mention he wouldn't quit costing us a fellaini and a half to get rid of.
