Personally I think the opposite is the bigger problem. Tarkowski is pretty much Michael Keane level. That’s not a criticism of him, it’s just an honest assessment of his ability. The issue is that people go massively overboard about tarkowski and coady being 100 times better than the players they’re replacing and some sort of combination of John terry, Roy Keane and winston Churchill, and then when it becomes clear they aren’t you get an inevitable backlash.Yes it's pathetic
Onana had a ropey 5 mins and he's now gbamin and now Tarkowski is now Michael Keane
It's tedious listening to same negative faeces pour out of people's mouths

Maybe he is but he’s not on a different level. He may be marginally better overall but it would be marginal. It’s not exactly a controversial statement either, if you looked at their careers on paper you’d definitely assume Keane was the better player. Quite what it is that has convinced people that a bloke who came from lower leagues and has spent almost his entire PL career battling relegation is some sort of defensive colossus I really don’t know.He is better than Michael Keane mate
Evertonian are massive knee jerkers.I've noticed a trend, arguably intensifying, amongst the good posters of GOT to rapidly evaluate new players.
Recent examples that come to mind are Mykolenko, Onana and McNeil. The example of one Alex Iwobi, written off by many (myself included), is perhaps a lesson to us that players can come good.
So, friends, are we too knee jerk? Should we be more generous in allowing players time to bed in, find form or develop?
It’s not just Everton it’s football in general, especially premier league team’s fans because of the media exclaiming everything in sensationalist terms and all these ‘banter’ pages on social media.Evertonian are massive knee jerkers.
Everton losing - worst team ever - worst manger ever
Everton drawing - man we suck
Everton winning - Best team ever, best players, best manager
