It's ok though lads, the use of VAR can be stopped because of concerns of officials working in a tight office space......

This on the BBC site, cannot be real surely. If they can allow 22 sweaty men to run around with full contact in tighter spaces, they can get these baffoons in a room surely.

They are so desperate its become a national embarrassment!
If only the technology existed where two people could see the same screen without being in the same room and then discuss it.

This won’t happen, the clubs or players will see to it if they need to but I think it’ll be the Government who’ll stop it by giving them a start date that’s just too late and focus will switch to next season.

It will get cancelled IMO.

Watford chiming in to the neutral venue debate too.

The longer it goes on, the more likely it'll be cancelled. Unless some financial guarantees are made to the club's against the proposals

Do you have an idea what clubs are saying they’ll vote against it now.

I’m assuming Norwich, Brighton, West Ham, Watford, Villa as I’ve heard negative comments from them all.

Anyone who may be relegated will be against it and anyone who have had a good season will be for it. Sad really.

Really don't think it'll be long before a sportsman gets seriously ill due to the added risk they've been put under. Watch it explode then.

My suspicion is the 14 none bottom 6 clubs are nowhere near as unified as is being made out. I suspect some of the teams will be quite sympathetic to their cause. They might not be part of that block, but if they push a vote the 14 may not be anywhere near as unified as is being said.

I also think this Sunday announcement is going to be a deceptively dank squib. They have tried to move the vote to after a big announcement on coming out of lockdown, but I just don't think that's going to happen.

I remember hearing Chris Wilder saying he wanted it cancelling very early on. I think that’s supposed to have changed now although I’ve seen no direct quotes but I still wouldn’t be surprised to see Sheff United vote cancel.

As things stand now they’re in Europe, guaranteed another season and getting at least 7th placed money. A restart could easily result in a bottom half finish for them so I wouldn’t be surprised if they stuck with what they’ve got.

Spurs have loads to gain if last seasons places were used. They may go for cancel. We obviously don’t want the pressure of our direct city rivals winning the league so cancel would suit us if we look after ourselves. I also get the feeling any money loss won’t impact us as bad as others so it may be worth us letting everyone take a financial hit knowing we’ll handle it better.

I think if the vote is anonymous you may get more cancels than if clubs have to put there names to it.

The thing is the FA/PL/Sky/chairmen/CEOs can say whatever they want,if individual players say no then its over,if I'm a player with millions in the bank am I going to risk mine and my familys health? What happens if it causes irreprible damage to me,I lose all those potential earning through playing and transfer fees

Come Sunday, I think they'll have a End of June date to go forward for Behind Closed Doors from the Government and come Monday, they'll vote for it, scrap contact renewals, play in neutral venues and go ahead.

Cue a 2nd Wave, multiple tests coming back positive and they will still play the sodding thing.
