Matthew Syed wrote the most inspiring book for children about growth mindset And confidence and I introduced it as a class book in the school a few years ago. That is so disappointing.

So there are a couple of choices:

1 - Void the Season:
No Promotion or Relegation, season is kept as it is position-wise. Use the parachute payments (£120m) and negotiate a 10% salary cap with the PFA/FA/EFL as gesture to preserve the integrity of the league for a season to reimburse lower league clubs and renegotiate with TV deals plus keep everyone in the involved safe in line with Government guidelines.

2 - Play the Remaining Games
Organise all the games behind closed doors in neutral or home stadiums unless in London because of their high death rate or Liverpool because the Mayor has raised concerns already, spend £4m on testing over 3000 people twice a week for 5 weeks while national testing is going down for the public, break employment, health, contract, insurance and government laws, AND still pay close to £300m to TV for playing in June.

Yeah it's a tough one

Forgot about the current season, if it has to come back then maybe a one off cup competition, tv get to show matches, neutral venues won't matter and a name is already in place - the covid cup

Actually, that might actually be a good idea for getting some behind closed doors football at neutral venues on the tele to help satsify the TV contracts.

Players only have to play if they feel safe to do so - give each club a few weeks to consult their players, if enough want to play then the club can enter in the competition. Once the total number of clubs is known they can do the draw and sort out the TV schedule.

Still alot of dodgy to stuff to sort out like making sure it is safe for the hundreds of people required to make a professional footbal match happen. And I doubnt they'd go for it anyway.

Null/void isn’t an option, the FA made that clear using their secret share vote thing. It’s either going to be play on next month or decide on PPG or home/away points basis

Null and void is only the term they used. Cancelling will be very much and option as will curtailing the season, which they told us on Monday they are now discussing, both of which are doing the exact same thing as voiding them.

Sporting merit will be what Holland did, awarding european places and prize money based on wherever they are now. They will not relegate anyone via that method and IMO, nor will they award a title. France was different, as they already had a rule in place for a season ending prematurley.

Null and void = cancelling / curtailing and it's very must still on the table, they told us so.
