It is called science. If you cannot observe the 2-metre rule then you have to add in safeguards. That means if you are going to use public transport then you will have to wear a mask. If you work in a supermarket then you have screens that protect both the customer and the worker. If you work in the NHS and have contact with patients then you wear PPE.

In the case of Premier League footballers then you get tested every week and self-isolate if you test positive.

You should go and get a job with Matt Hancock. He will genuinely appreciate the dangerous nonsense you peddle.

You can tell us next how we are not the worst placed in Europe. I look forward to that. Add it to mass gatherings not being unsafe.

I would suggest we have a prolonged spell.of Germanys death rate numbers before we considered schools returning and football starting. I was going to say when Germany had our death rates they weren't playing football. But that's not true, Germany never really reached our current death rate.

I would have a look at say Holland, France, Scotland, Belgium who all have much better death rates than England and who have cancelled their leagues due to safety as a useful starting point. Frankly I trust their governments over our own government, who seem to think that driving 600 miles round trip with the illness was within the boundaries of what science deemed permissible.

If you believe that, you'll believe anything. I suspect you probably do believe Dominic Cummings just had to test his eyes out though, given everything else we know.

I hate to make the accusation, but I dont really know any Evertonians who are that stupid. If they keep making ridiculous arguments, based on spurious evidence they tend to be reds. It's a clear giveaway. It's sad they have to pretend to be blues, and dont even have the bravery to be themselves.

In a functioning society it is almost impossible to stop people catching the virus. It is about mitigation. It is about identifying clusters and stopping their spread. Probably the gold standard for that approach is continually testing people whether they show any symptoms or not.

You can't even get that right. Belgium has a worse death rate than us and Scotland's is very similar.

With 4,000 deaths from a population of 5.454 million people, the rate of coronavirus deaths in Scotland has reached 733 for every million, behind England on 767 and Belgium on 842. The UK as a whole has the second worst record with 614 deaths for every million people.
