The whole thing is too big a powder keg for the PL to make Villa play, can you imagine the scandal if, even if it is completely unrelated an Everton player gets Covid next week. It will stop the PL in it's tracks.

When City requested the move, they should have said no you have the players available. Now it's a free for all.
