Anyone been round recently? Imagine some of these will struggle the survive? Id imagine the Winslow has little if any business, anyone know how the oak, brick, clock, elm tree, speklow etc are doing?

Will be a sad day going back to Goodison with half the pubs shut down. Hope we are allowed back before seasons over

I said this in the pubs and clubs thread a few months ago. I can see quite a few of these pubs not opening again unfortunately.

I had heard the Brick had closed, but cant confirm. I’d be surprised if a few others haven’t too sadly.

So the elm and brick closed? So sad, first game back I was literally planning on visiting every single pub before the game

I’d be surprised if any near the ground were allowed to open when we’re eventually back. No way they’d be able to sort social distancing, getting customers info and manage a pre match crowd. Particularly the smaller places.

No I meant in a post corona world. I'm gonna head down county road about ten on a Saturday and start drinking, finishing in the Winslow before entering Goodison at 2 45 and getting pumped for those sirens

To be honest ive said this myself, none close to the ground shold be allowed to be open if we play, its going to be hard enough to have a crowd at a game, this will only make it worse, help the spread but the actual game will be blamed
