Very close game. What an opportunity lost. Southgate was in a difficult spot re subs today because the front 3 were all playing well second half. I think Henderson should have been hooked a little earlier. Maddison not getting on the pitch and Grealish only getting a couple of mins was a shame

Maddison behind Kane for Henderson would have been my sub he's been on fire for Leicester this season.

Dont know why he brought Sterling on should have left him back in England.

Southgate put a plan in place that controlled the game against a very good France side while also mostly stopping the counters. I think you have to give him another couple of years to see where he takes it.

Hasn’t ever won a game at a tournament they weren’t favourites for. Get a decent manager in before this generation of players is completely wasted like Martinez wasted belgiums.
