At the end of the day, england have strength in the attacking areas of the pitch and have fairly poor defenders. Play to your strengths. Southgate is way too cautious and doesn’t make the most of the attacking talent at his disposal. It was criminal of him to play Henderson instead of a Maddison or mount (or a. n. other) in there. I think southgate’s shot his last bolt.
