I think certain posters went too hard too early. When it came to the business end they had just become tedious and people were desensitised

He’s had his good and bad games tbf, I think the emergence of Bellingham and a fit again Phillips might lessen his chances going forward though

If he goes, he goes with good grace and the most likeable squad in generations. It probably is the right time in all fairness, there were some rumblings of discontent during the shambolic Nations League campaign over the summer
